Sri Yantra

Yantra is a sanskrit word which, loosely translated, means “tool”. As a tool, yantras are used to withdraw consciousness from the outer world and direct it to the inner world.

The “Sri Yantra” is a deeply celebrated sacred symbol that has been used as a tool for meditation and spiritual growth since ancient times.

“A mystical construction of the cosmos, the Sri Yantra is formed by the interpenetration of 2 sets of triangles, four apex upward, representing the male principle and five, apex downward, representing the female principle. The Sri Yantra is devised to give a vision of the totality of existence so the adept may internalize its symbols for the ultimate realization of his or her unity with the cosmos.”
